| Comune di Massa Marittima - Grosseto - Tuscany Italy. Museum di Arte Sacra 17 December 2006 - 30 September 2007. An encounter between two artistic and historic site, Venice-Murano and Massa Marittima. The Murano Glass Masters exhibition bears testament to the millennial art of glass making and to the splendour of Venice in the small Tuscan city which we belive to be a worthy setting for such an event.

Two archetypal elements relating the history of two cultural "sites". The earth, that of Tuscany and its metalliferous hills, its wealth of mineral deposits; an excavated land criss-crossed by galleries searching out precious metals. The fire, that of Murano, which burns in the stoke-hole today as it did a thousand years ago, reconfirm the alchemic trasformation of sand into glass. Fire: the female principle, matter against spirit. Earth and fire in the work of eighteen great Murano glass Masters priviliged to use glass for their interpretations. Glass Masters :
